revalation

well aside from my bintang in hand - the only thing i comfortably know how to do, travelling on ur own is weird. i cant think of the words to describe, im not scared, confused, overwealmed, awestruck, dunno. nothing really. i feel like a true cunt as i know i've secretively written off ppl in my head who go to bali as a lame holiday, and maybe it is compared to what i still have to discover but its still its a new learing curve and with that has come a new insight into myself. i suck at being on my own and in a foregin country. i new weakness is discovered and will be conquoured in time. i hope!

i want to travel on my own too, but i want to know people in places before i hit there so i dont sit in bars drinking by myself cos i would probably get too depressed. if you dont come back with a sarong, 57 knockoff dvds and your hair braided YOU ARE FINISHED!

yeah that's my ultimate. travel to unknown places but with people to guide and meet u along the way. oh well can't have ur cake and eat it too. 10 days and ive got loads better, my bartering skills are truth and i'm comfortable just wandering on my own now. i think i just hate that backpacker stereotype after living in byron for so long... if i meet one more boagan fuckin pom im going to stab myself in the eye though!

I've done alot of travelling by myself and I think it's great. Sure, there are moments when you wish someone was there with you to see that landmark or whatever, but it forces you be independent, make random friends and guarantees interesting experiences! Come back sooooooon! x

haha. Thanks Anna. I'm getting better. A short holiday in an Asian country couldnt have been better for me. I have a great suntan to show off so I may have to convert to white singlets... or not~!;) How was the TNA gettaway? see u soon poss. m x
